Ty Stamps, a third generation banker
and life long resident, is the Collierville Bank President
for BancorpSouth.
An alumnus of the University of Alabama
with a Bachelor of Science, he is a graduate of the
Southeastern School of Commercial Lending as well as the Louisiana State University Graduate School
of Banking. He is also a graduate of Leadership
Collierville.
His banking career began with the
National Bank of Commerce. He later joined the Citizens
Bank of Collierville which merged with NBC in 1998. In 2003,
he assumed his current position with BancorpSouth.
Ty has been an active supporter of the
Collierville community and has been associated with numerous
civic organizations. He is a past President of the
Collierville Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He
has also held the position of President of the Collierville
Education Foundation. In, 2007, he served as the
Chairman of the Board for the Collierville Chamber of
Commerce.
He and his wife Melissa have two
children, Benjamin and Samuel. He enjoys hunting and is
active in the Collierville United Methodist Church.
