Wright Cox is the President of
BankTennessee and life-long resident of
Collierville.
He earned a BBA from Texas Christian University and is a
graduate of the Louisiana State University Graduate
School of Banking. He
is a graduate of the Leadership Institute at Rhodes
College.
His
banking career began in 1980 with Collierville Savings &
Loan on the Square. He moved to
BankTennessee in 1992 and has excelled to his
present position.
Wright has served the Chamber in many capacities over
the years including Former President, Former Chairman –
Home Council, Collierville Magazine Committee Chairman,
and Vice Chairman Community Development. He has also
held the position of President of the Collierville
Education Foundation and continues to serve on that
board.
Wright was a founding board member of Leadership
Collierville and the Founding Chairman of the
Collierville Three-Star Committee.
His numerous community activities include leadership
roles in Hope Presbyterian Church, involvement in
Crosswind Elementary PTA, working as a volunteer for the
American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the
Collierville Soccer Association. He
is a member of the Board of directors of Crichton
College.
He and his wife Cindy, have three children.
