Watty Brooks Hall is the owner of The
Brooks Collection, a unique gift and garden shop located on
the Historic Town Square. She and her husband, Chris, split
time between Collierville and Knoxville where he is an
attorney.
She received her
undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at
Knoxville. Upon completion of her studies, she entered the
corporate world at Schering-Plough HealthCare Products in
Memphis and remained there until 1999; whereupon, she opened
her own business in Collierville. Her last position held at
Schering-Plough was Director of Consumer Relations.
Since being a business owner in Collierville, Watty has been
actively involved in various organizations. She has
served on the Board of Directors of Main Street
Collierville, served as Chairman of the Culture, Recreation
and Tourism Commission for the Chamber of Commerce, and was
a member of the Chamber's Town Square Study Committee.
She currently serves as a Commissioner on the Historic
District Commission and is a Downtown Neighborhood
Ambassador for the Downtown Collierville Small Area Plan.
Watty is a lifelong member of the Collierville United
Methodist Church.
