Chuck
Engelken is co-owner of the Collierville based CPA firm,
Engelken and Engelken CPA, which he founded with his wife in
1996. A native of St. Louis, he attended Southern Illinois
University for one year followed by four years as a
helicopter pilot serving in Vietnam. In 1973, upon
graduation from the University of Louisville where he
received a Bachelor of Science and Commerce, Chuck began
work for the CPA firm of Arthur Andersen. He has also worked
for McDermott International in New Orleans and as
Vice-President of Tax for FedEx prior to his opening his
firm in Collierville.
Chuck
has served as Chairman of the Airline Transportation
Association, and worked on Governor Sundquist’s Commission
for Practical Government chaired by Ron Terry. Chuck has
been a member of the Chamber Board of Directors since July
2001, where he currently serves on the Collierville Tomorrow
Advisory Board. Chuck is a member of the Rotary Club, serves
as the Treasurer of the Collierville Rotary Foundation and
has served on several United Way Boards.
Chuck
and his wife Jill, have five children and two grandchildren.
