In 2017, Vaughan was elected to the Tennessee General Assembly, as the Representative for the 95th House district where he serves on the insurance and banking committee as well as the Business and utilities committee and subcommittee. During his inaugural year, Vaughan was honored as the legislator of the year by The Memphis Area Association of Governments and The Tennessee Journal tabbed him as the “Top Freshman Lawmaker”.
During the Chamber’s November General Member Luncheon Vaughan, a 30-year resident of Collierville, will be sharing information on the state of our State. Including his insights and perspectives of what is on the horizon as the convening for the 111th General Assembly approaches. “He's has done a great job in his short tenure in the legislature, and we're looking forward to another term!
